
Kimberley Durrant
Ms Durrant is the UK Representative for the Government of Bermuda and head of the Government’s Office in the UK. In her capacity Ms Durrant has been elected to Chairmanship of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association (UKOTA) on three occasions and is currently responsible for the Financial Services portfolio on behalf of the Territories collectively. Ms Durrant was appointed to the position of UK Representative in 2008 and is responsible for the Government of Bermuda’s policy direction and diplomacy in the UK and Europe. During years of service Ms Durrant has supported several Premiers, Governors and numerous Ministers on Bermuda’s engagement with the UK Government. Most notable Ms Durrant has been at the forefront of negotiations for the BREXIT MOU between British Territories and EU Overseas Countries and Territories; has achieved visa free access for British Overseas Territory Citizens across the Schengen Area; and has secured greater representation for the Overseas Territories at United Nations Climate Change Conference. Ms Durrant is widely known for her work over the years with the UK Parliament, UK Government and the London Diplomatic Corp.
Ms Durrant is known on the Citywealth’s top 200 power women list and is the recipient of the His Majesty’s 2024 New Years Honours list for dedication to public service.
